DIY gift ideas: nautical-style T-shirts for kids
The little ones in the house will be delighted wearing these t-shirts with sailor bows, with the open back to show off their tan. They are so easy to customize that it will be difficult to decide on just one color.

Materials we need for the T-shirts with sailor motifs
- Manubens sailor tape P. 4601 in width 25mm and 48mm and colour 222.
- T-shirt in plain colour that we want to customize or personalize.
- Scissors, needles, thread and sewing machine.
How to personalise your T-shirt step by step
Fold the T-shirt in half and cut it in the middle of the back.
Cut two strips of tape 48 mm long to the length of the T-shirt. This tape will be used to polish the inside seam.
We cut 4 strips of the 25 mm ribbon approximately 80 cm long for the bows.
We place the ribbons at the height we like and sew.
We place the 48 mm tape that we have previously cut on the edge of the seam and machine stitch on the inside edge.
Turn the edge of the T-shirt and the ends of the ribbon inwards and sew all the way around. Repeat the process on the other half.
We make the bows and that’s it!
And now we have our short-sleeved sailor-style T-shirt to wear in the spring/summer season.
