How many customers have come to the store to buy ribbons and then discover that they already had that color? In every home, there’s a mischievous elf who enjoys tangling up the sewing kit, ribbons, buttons…<\/span><\/p>\n

In this post, we will explain how to organize and store ribbon scraps to see at a glance everything we have. And most importantly, to make the order LAST.<\/span><\/p>\n

1. What do you need to organize your ribbons?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div><\/div>

  • A wide-mouth glass jar or a box, according to your preferences<\/li>\n
  • Wooden clothespins<\/li>\n

    2. Sort the ribbons by colors or textures<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div><\/div>

    The first step is to sort the ribbons by colors, textures, or whatever is most useful to you. Take the opportunity to throw away all the small pieces that will never be useful again.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

    Roll the ribbon on the clothespin<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div><\/div>

    Clip the ribbon at one end as you can see in the photo.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

    And start winding the ribbon onto the clothespin, tightening enough so that it doesn’t unwind.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

    When you reach the end, clip the other end as you can see above.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

    3. Continue with all the ribbons you want to classify<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div><\/div>

    4. And start storing the ribbons in the jars!<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div><\/div>

    Use a jar for each color range or classify by textures. They will look super decorative on the shelf in your craft area.<\/span><\/p>\n
