Christmas Ornaments to Decorate the Tree

These ornaments for decorating the Christmas tree are very easy to make. We explain how to make tree ornaments using ribbons that will add an even more festive touch to your home

List of materials to create your ornaments:

  • Wooden hoops of different sizes
  • Single ribbon wreaths
    • Scottish ribbon: P4500 width 10mm color 001
    • Lame ribbon: P4700 width 15mm color 94
    • Top taffeta ribbon: P1410 width 10mm color 158
  • Red and green knot wreath
    • Double-faced satin ribbon: P720 width 10mm colors 46 and 58
    • Christmas ribbon: P152 width 16mm color 2
    • Christmas ribbon: P152 width 16mm color 2
    • Mouse tail ribbon: P751 color 28
  • White and gold knot wreath:
    • Christmas ribbon: P152 width 16mm color 1
    • Vichy ribbon: P4600 width 10mm color 602
    • Taffeta ribbon: P480 width 10mm color 602
    • Top taffeta ribbon: P1410 width 10mm color 602

We suggest using Christmas colors like gold or red, but you can use the ribbons you like the most. Use your imagination to create original Christmas combinations. Perhaps these designs will inspire you to decorate your home, such as the table, the wall, or even the door – use your imagination!

Single Ribbon Mini Wreaths

Diagonally wrap the ribbon around one of the wooden hoops as shown in the photo. Calculate enough ribbon so that it extends on both ends to make the finishing bow

Tie a mouse tail ring to hang the mini wreath. Finish by making a bow with the leftover ends.

Knot Wreaths:

Choose the combination of ribbons you like the most. Cut them into 18 cm pieces. Fold them in half and secure them to the wooden hoop with a lark’s head knot.

Combine the ribbons to your liking. Place them thickly to completely cover the hoop.

Finally, tie the mouse tail to be able to hang it from the tree, and your knot wreath is finished!
