How we make the Advent wreath step by step

Once we have the ribbon combination we like the most, we cut them into strips of approximately 18 cm.

We tie the ribbons to the wreath wires with lark knot type knots, used in macramé. In this photo and the following ones, we show you how to make them. The first step is to fold the ribbon in half.

We pass the folded ribbon through the wire, always downward.

And we pass the open ends of the ribbon through the ribbon loop on the other side. Then, we tighten the knot.

We continue tying 18 cm ribbon pieces around the wreath wires, combining colors and textures as we like.

And there you have it, the wreath is finished! But we need a ribbon to hang it, and we finish it with a bow. We chose a very festive red velvet ribbon, but it could be green, burlap… choose the one you like the most!
