At Manubens, we offer more than 150 standard colors available in all our fabric ribbons. In most cases, this range of colors will be sufficient to meet the needs of haberdashery customers, who will inquire about the full range of colors of the fabric ribbons we manufacture in their nearest haberdasheries.
For other markets and/or needs, it will be challenging not to find the desired color among the wide range we offer. Nevertheless, if a special color is chosen that is outside our standards, we can develop it.
Starting with a fabric, some standard color palettes…, we conduct customized color studies that fully adapt to the needs of each customer. To confirm that it is the desired color, we will send a sample of the specified color before starting to manufacture the needed batch.
With so many colors, many things can be created, satisfying customers who are looking for perfection in their work using the fabric ribbons we manufacture.
COLORS IN GARMENT MAKING AND PACKAGING
In the markets for garment ribbons and packaging ribbons, color plays a crucial role. By this, we mean that customers who commission these types of ribbons may come with a preconceived idea of the design and color of the ribbon they need for their final work.
In this sense, when developing specific projects for garment making and packaging, we fully embrace the creativity and innovation of each customer when choosing the final product.
This is how colors become essential when manufacturing fabric ribbons for all possible purposes.
Choosing the most suitable color for each fabric ribbon at first will be challenging because not only all chosen colors must be considered, but it will also depend on the type of fabric ribbon where the color will be used.
Each fabric ribbon has a specific texture and is made of a different material, so the dyeing process may vary. The same shade might appear different on a velvet ribbon or an organza ribbon, but this is something that is verified in the preliminary color tests.
In conclusion, the work of coloring in the fabric ribbons we manufacture, both for the garment and packaging markets, is a continuous and thoughtful process that Manubens aims to complete in the most professional way it knows, by manufacturing high-quality fabric ribbons.
MATERIALS TO APPLY COLOR ON
All our standard colors and those that customers commission for their garment and packaging products can be applied to polyester, polyamide, and cotton ribbons.
Colors can be applied to all types of fabrics, and this is where the results that customers cannot stop looking at arise, due to their originality, beauty, and quality.
The dyeing process varies depending on the raw material of the ribbon. For instance, when we want to dye a polyester ribbon, the process used is known as Thermosol.
In this process, high-temperature air up to 200ºC is used for the dye to penetrate the fiber.
For materials such as polyamide and cotton, steam at 104ºC is used. Both processes are carried out through continuous dyeing, the fastest and most commonly used dyeing process for fabric ribbons.
These are some of the differences established when treating different types of fabric in their color treatment.
