1. Materials needed to make the summer bag with ribbons and cords

  • P.200 Manubens cord in two colors:
  • 001: black
  • 002: beige
  • Lace Measurement Crochet
  • Scissors
  • Measuring tape
  • Raffia type bag or carrycot

Now that you have everything ready on the table, let’s get started.

2. How to personalize the summer bag with ribbons and cords step by step

Start by cutting 25 cm of the cord you need. We have used about 8 or 9 pieces for each color, although the quantity will depend on the size of the carrycot. If you see that you are missing them, you can always cut more as you place them

Start threading the pieces of cord through the holes closest to the edge of the bag. To make it easy, fold the cord, pass the hook through the hole, catch it with the tip and pull it.

To tie the knot you just have to pass the end of the ropes through the hole and tighten.

You alternate the two colors to create the bangs and you will have it finished almost without realizing it!

Beautiful, easy, unique and very, very attractive, right?

As you can see in these last two photos, we have customized two different types of carrycots so you can see how good our proposal looks in both rigid and flexible bags.
